This page contains settings specific to the use of training notes. If you are using the system to record student training notes, you can set the operating capacities you want your instructors to use. By default these are PUT, P1 and P1/S.
You can also change the wording on the notification email sent to students when an instructor updates their training record.
As well as free-text training notes, the system can hold one or more syllabi — structured lists of exercises — so instructors can record progress against each exercise and you can see how a student is advancing.
To manage syllabi, click the Admin tab, then Training, then Syllabus. From here you can create a syllabus, add and edit its exercises, and reorder them. When a syllabus is no longer used you can Archive it rather than deleting it, so existing training history is preserved.
On a student’s Training tab you can then view their progress by syllabus and by individual exercise, and there are summary reports of training activity by instructor.
