This post is a follow-up from the post in October about automating your voucher sales. At the time, we integrated with Squarespace eCommerce and automated the voucher sales process. Squarespace use Stripe to take payments, and after the big announcement about our new billing system, so do we. So it makes sense to provide you a better system so you aren't tied and can use any website you like.
Many flying schools want to or already sell vouchers of one form or another, usually pitched as an air experience or trial flight lesson.
These days people shop online for gift ideas, and there is a recent trend in buying experiences rather than physical goods. But people are also in a hurry and want everything quick and easy.
Selling from the web site is the best experience for school owners and customers alike. The benefit to school owners is obvious; there's no need to staff the office in case someone phones to buy a voucher. And there's no need to create the voucher by hand anymore either, and no need to drop it off at the local Post Office.
The Flight School Booking system can now provide you a platform to sell your vouchers online! Customers can click a link or a button on your web site, and arrive at a simple form which collects their name, address and card number. We make no additional charge for using the service for customers on our Gold Plan, and a low percentage fee for the Silver Plan. Card payments are secure and handled by Stripe, and their fees are 1.4% + £0.20 (UK rates shown).
