Colours are used on the booking form to quickly see which aircraft instructors are working on. Each instructor has their own colour, which is assigned by the system automatically.
Colours are assigned in the order instructors are added, using a colour wheel to separate colours as much as possible.
But we had some feedback from someone with reduced colour vision that his bookings were hard to read. So we've added some new settings for each user. Everyone can now choose whether colours are used or not, and instructors can override their colour. The system uses black text on light backgrounds and white text on dark backgrounds.
